About Me
I'm a dad, partner, community builder, catalyst, entrepreneur, brewer, and consultant. Currently, I am on the Brewers Association (BA) DEI education subcommittee, Craft Brewers Conference (CBC) seminar subcommittees, Master Brewers Association of the Americas (MBAA) DEI Task Force, and have presented and hosted seminars/webinars. I´ve worked in the beer industry, covering nearly every job, in Oregon, Colorado, Kansas City, volunteered in Canada, attended Siebel Institute of Technology (brew school in Chicago and Germany), and traveled a lot. My passion is really to make a positive impact through helping lead a cultural shift in the industry, and empower those my communities. I feel that in order to make the cultural changes it starts with tackling ourselves first, talking to our hurt 5-year-old selves, building our emotional vocabulary, finding our mind-body connection, hold space for people, stay vulnerable, set boundaries, and work as a team. I am no expert but I go to therapy often, read/listen to a lot of books and articles, listen to a lot of podcasts, talk to a lot of people, parent my daughter, and try to embody what I try to show her, while ¨trying to not beat myself up¨ along the way.
